Sovereignty
Sovereignty is an operating boundary
DeskBridge sovereignty means clear authority, supportable control and predictable lifecycle decisions.
How it shows up
- UK-operated service model
- Secure sovereign-backed European data hosting included as standard
- Documented operating boundaries
- Reset-based lifecycle control
- Recorded administrator actions
- Explicit exclusions for unsafe requests
Data residency and key custody
Standard DeskBridge hosting uses secure sovereign-backed European locations. A customer can instead commission a sovereign deployment in its preferred approved jurisdiction, including the UAE, with the regional hosting, backup, support and assurance costs clearly scoped as an add-on. Data residency answers where data is stored. Key custody answers who can decrypt protected data and under what authority. DeskBridge can scope DeskBridge Managed Keys, Customer-Controlled Keys, or Customer-Held / Zero-Knowledge Keys where the client accepts the operational trade-offs.
